Simona De Silvestro is amazing, not only did she survive a crash at 220 mph during qualifying for the Indy 500 with only burns on her hands. But then she gets into their older heavier backup car, hands oozing and bandaged, and proceeds to qualify for the race in 24th. She didn’t finish the race because of technical problems, but she rules either way.

 

The toughest driver at indy is a woman, and she’s not Danica Patrick
